Text Box: The North Central Region’s Recovery Committee which has been on hiatus, has reconvened with one of its goals

private sector. Earlier this month the committee received a briefing from Garry Briese, the WARRP onsite integrator, regarding the status of the WARRP program and discussions were held regarding upcoming opportunities to partner.
Text Box: On May 19th the committee will meet with representatives from Sandia National Laboratories to discuss the WARRP Systems Study. For more information on the NCRs Recovery Committee please contact Dave Daley at d.daley@southmetro.org

Denver Area Security Initiative (UASI) News

The Denver UASI and North Central Region recently conducted a Communications Tabletop Exercise that took place February 23, 2011.  It was one of the building-block exercises leading to the Operation Mountain Guardian Full-Scale Exercise scheduled for September 23, 2011.  The OMG Communications TTX involved key personnel from 84 North Central Region agencies.

The goal of the exercise was to validate the Regional Tactical Interoperability          Communications Plan (TIC Plan) based upon multiple attacks within the North Central Region and the need to coordinate limited interoperable resources.
